Terms of Rental Service
These Terms of Rental Service (“Agreement”) govern the rental of golf carts (the “Equipment”) from the Owner of the Golf Cart Vehicle (or the local dealership/location where the Equipment is rented) (“Owner”) to the individual or entity renting the Equipment (“Renter”). Although reservations are made via GOLFCARTRENTALS.ORG, Renter is contracting directly with the Owner listed at pickup. By reserving or taking possession of the Equipment, Renter agrees to be bound by all terms below.
Renter may choose from the following rental plans. All rates exclude applicable taxes, fees, and a delivery charge of $6 per mile (one-way) unless otherwise quoted.

All Equipment—gas, electric, non-street-legal, or street-legal—rents at the rates listed above for its seating class.
Reservation & Contracting: Reservations are made through GOLFCARTRENTALS.ORG but Renter’s contract is with the Owner (dealership/location) where the cart is picked up.
Payment: All payments—rental fees, security deposits, delivery charges, and any additional charges—are made directly to the Owner using GOLFCARTRENTALS.ORG’s secure payment gateway or the Owner’s (dealership’s) payment gateway at the time of booking or pickup. Accepted methods include credit/debit cards and approved electronic payments, in U.S. dollars.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $500 per cart is collected at booking or pickup. Deposits are returned within 7 business days of Equipment return, less any damage or late-return fees.
Delivery Fee: $6 per mile, one-way, calculated from the Owner’s rental location.
Schedule: Standard windows are 9 AM–5 PM, Monday–Saturday; after-hours service may incur a surcharge.
If Equipment is kept past the scheduled return date/time, Renter will incur extra-day charges at the daily rate of the originally booked plan:

Example: A 7-day 2-seater due back Tuesday at 5 PM but returned Thursday incurs 2 extra days × $150 = $300 additional.
Responsibility: Renter is liable for loss, theft, or damage from delivery until pickup.
Repairs: Billed at cost plus 15% handling.
Accidents/Theft: Must notify the Owner and local authorities immediately.
Only licensed drivers (18+) may operate Equipment.
Non-street-legal carts: private property only (20 MPH max).
Street-legal carts: obey all traffic laws.
> 7 days before pickup: Full refund of rental fee & deposit.
48 hours–7 days before: 50% rental-fee refund; deposit fully refundable.
< 48 hours or no-show: No refund; full rental fee & deposit retained.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the golf cart was rented. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction from which the Equipment was rented.
By completing a reservation or taking possession of any Equipment, Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms above.
