User Code of Conduct
At GOLFCARTRENTALS.ORG, we aim to create a trusted, respectful, and safe rental experience for everyone. Whether you’re renting a golf cart for a vacation, event, or daily use, following our User Code of Conduct helps ensure a positive experience for you, our agents, and the entire community.
By using our platform, you agree to follow the standards outlined below.
1. Respect for People and Property
We expect all users to treat our rental agents, golf cart owners, other renters, and their property with courtesy and respect.
Use polite, professional language during all communication
Do not damage, vandalize, or misuse golf carts or equipment
Avoid discriminatory behavior or harassment of any kind
2. Accurate Information
You must provide accurate personal details during account creation and rental booking, including:
Providing false or misleading information is grounds for cancellation or removal from the platform.
3. Responsible Vehicle Use
Golf carts are fun and functional, but they must be operated safely and within local legal boundaries.
Users must:
Obey all local traffic laws
Refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Use carts only in approved areas (public streets, private property, golf courses, etc.)
Keep passengers within the vehicle’s seating capacity
4. Timely Communication
Maintain open and timely communication with your assigned rental agent.
Confirm delivery and pickup details in advance
Notify your agent as early as possible if your schedule changes
Report any damage or issues immediately during your rental
5. Return Responsibility
At the end of your rental period, please:
Return the cart in the same condition you received it
Remove all personal belongings
Ensure the vehicle is parked safely and ready for pickup
Late returns or returns in poor condition may result in additional fees.
6. No Unauthorized Sub-Rentals
You may not rent a golf cart on behalf of another person or transfer the rental agreement to someone else without written approval from the rental agent or GOLFCARTRENTALS.ORG support.
7. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited while using our services or operating a rented golf cart:
Off-road or reckless driving
Use during illegal activities or in unsafe areas
Tampering with cart hardware or safety systems
Smoking inside the cart
Unauthorized towing or modifications
Violation of these rules may lead to account suspension, fines, or legal action.
8. Reporting Misconduct or Safety Issues
We take misconduct seriously. If you witness unsafe or unethical behavior from a user, agent, or cart owner, please report it immediately to support@golfcartrentals.org.
9. Repeated or Severe Violations
We reserve the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban any user who:
Repeatedly violates our code of conduct
Endangers others through their actions
Damages property without resolution or communication
10. Legal Compliance
You are responsible for complying with local, state, and federal laws while using a golf cart. This includes licensing, permitted use areas, and traffic rules.
11. Community Engagement
As a user of our platform, you’re part of a growing network of local agents, renters, and owners. We encourage friendly, respectful communication and feedback that helps us grow and improve.
